This ARM field campaign will focus on characterizing INPs at Oliktok Point on the North Slope of Alaska. Time- and size-resolved samples of aerosol particles will be collected and analyzed for elemental composition and concentrations of INPs of biological and non-biological origin.

The site is currently located approximately 150 ft from the beach; however, it is thought that the shoreline most susceptible to erosion will likely be stabilized due to the construction of a new coastal gravel pad at Oliktok Point for oil production and exploration activities.
